In a series of tweets posted today, rapper and oft-controversial figure Iggy Azalea revealed that she will release new music throughout the month of March. While no official drop date for her long-delayed sophomore album Digital Distortion has been set, Azalea’s tweets reveal the album, its accompanying visuals, and, indeed, the release date are coming very soon. This will be the first new music from the Australia native since she dropped “Team,” a potential song of the summer candidate (and, at the time, supposed lead single to Digital Distortion) almost exactly one year ago. For that gap, Azalea says that she’s very sorry, but she had to contend with “so many personal changes,” chief among them breaking off her engagement to basketball player Nick Young. One track from the record is set to appear on Def Jam’s Direct Deposit release, expected tomorrow. For the rest, fans will have to stay tuned.
