J. Cole Is Making Another HBO Documentary With Music From 4 Your Eyez Only

By

For HBO-subscribing eyes only: J. Cole is releasing a follow-up to the documentary he made last year for HBO. After using concert and tour footage to make J. Cole Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming, the rapper is turning his gaze outward to focus on highlighting under-documented voices. J. Cole: 4 Your Eyez Only, a Dreamville Film will intercut songs from his most recent album with interview footage from low-income neighborhoods across the South. “I want my voice heard so bad but I cannot,” a subject in the doc’s trailer says. Now, J. Cole is sharing his mic. J. Cole: 4 Your Eyez Only, a Dreamville Film will premiere on HBO on April 15.
