Here’s a clip from last night’s Late Show, where Stephen Colbert takes a closer look at the new Obamacare replacement the Republicans released this week. The new plan covers approximately 20 million fewer Americans than Obamacare (“20 million fewer than Obama? That sounds like Trump’s inauguration”), offers tax credits instead of subsidies (“So everything’s gonna be fine, but you’re gonna have your colonoscopy at H&R Block”), gives a big tax break to insurance company executives making over $500k per year ("So…all of them?”), and no cost estimates, and Colbert sums it up perfectly: “Where was I?
