At least they’ll get to enjoy a few laughs before their screaming lungs are filled with the icy deep. According to The Hollywood Reporter, T.J. Miller is in final negotiations to join Kristen Stewart in Underwater, an aptly named disaster movie in which a cadre of ocean researchers “must scramble to safety after an earthquake devastates their subterranean laboratory.” William Eubank, most recently at the helm of 2014’s sci-fi thriller The Signal, is set to direct. Think of it as Deep Blue Sea, but instead of genetically modified hyper-intelligent sharks, it’s T.J. Miller — and, look, if they know what people want — at least a couple of normal sharks.
