Here’s a clip from last night’s Late Late Show, where Pete Holmes teaches James Corden, JJ Redick, and Scott Bakula the revered art of fake-waking up on camera – or as Holmes calls it, the “fake up.” Holmes has to do a lot of fake ups for his HBO show Crashing, so thanks to his mastery of this very specific skill he can now go around passing it on to others.
