Omarosa Manigault, current director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison for Trump’s White House, and former reality TV villain, pulled the rip cord on her Daily Show interview scheduled for yesterday. The Apprentice star allegedly told host Trevor Noah that Trump’s administration “didn’t want her interview on the Daily Show to eclipse the news of the day.” Seeing as how the news of the day was FBI director James Comey refuting the president’s tweets about an alleged Obama wiretap, while confirming that the FBI is investigating whether his campaign communicated with Russia during the election, Trump could have really used a fun Say Yes to the Dress clip to draw off some of that heat. If Omarosa’s grandma/best friend really loathed her taste in sweetheart necklines, we might never have remembered that Comey had to deny the validity of a Trump tweet in real time.
