Let’s just call it now: Viola Davis is the award winner for most award wins this year. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the How to Get Away With Murder star is set to receive the Harvard Foundation 2017 Artist of the Year Award, an honor previously bequeathed to the likes of Quincy Jones, Matt Damon, Salma Hayek, and Shakira. Davis’s impressive award streak this year has included Critics’ Choice, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, BAFTA, and Oscar wins for her role in Fences. Back in 2010, Davis also starred in the Broadway revival of the famed August Wilson play, where she and co-star Denzel Washington took home Tonys for best performances.
