One of Amazon’s new comedy pilots just became the first series to receive a double-season series order at the streaming network. According to Variety, Amazon has officially ordered two seasons of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel from Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino. Ordered to pilot last summer, the show centers on Rachel Brosnahan as “a 1958 New York City woman who has everything she’s ever wanted—the perfect husband, two kids, and an elegant Upper West Side apartment perfect for hosting Yom Kippur dinner.
