Former Late Night writer/performer and current Daily Show writer/contributor Michelle Wolf has a standup special in the works at HBO. The network announced today that Wolf will tape her debut HBO standup special on August 12th at the Skirball Center in New York. The special will be directed by Neal Brennan, who also directed Al Madrigal’s upcoming Showtime special Shrimpin’ Ain’t Easy and has a mockumentary pilot in the works at Comedy Central.
