Here’s a clip from last night’s Late Night, where Seth Meyers takes “A Closer Look” at what will soon be Trump’s first 100 days in office, all the now broken promises he made to his supporters for his “100-day contract” with them, and his demands for border wall money that might lead to a government shutdown this Friday, even though he’s still tweeting about how Mexico will be paying for it “eventually, but at a later date,” and “in some form.” “Trump’s tweets are starting to sound like the fine print on a contest to win a free cruise,” Meyers says, before noting that Trump’s estimated cost for the border wall is $10 billion unless he decides to “do a super-duper, higher, better” one. “Man, even the biggest sucker at the used car lot knows to walk away when the salesman says ‘super-duper.’”
