Netflix is adding so much standup this year that now they’re even inviting non-comedians to host their own comedy specials – first there was Michael Bolton’s Valentine’s Day special, and now country singer Brad Paisley has a special of his own in the works. The streaming network has added an hourlong standup special hosted by Paisley called Brad Paisley’s Comedy Rodeo. Paisley announced the news earlier this week, which you can check out above.
The Comedy Rodeo special was taped during Nashville’s Wild West Comedy Festival back in April. In addition to Paisley hosting, the special will reportedly feature standup from Nate Bargatze, John Heffron, Jon Reep, Sarah Tiana, and Mike E. Winfield as well as guest appearances from David Hasselhoff and Reba McIntire. The special premieres on Netflix Tuesday, August 15th.
