Late Night was off the air last week, so during last night’s show, Seth Meyers used his “Closer Look” segment to catch up on all the Trump news that happened while he was away. And there’s plenty of embarrassing Trump news to cover, from his “rage-tweeting” attacking the mayor of London and promoting his Muslim ban to pulling out of the Paris climate agreement to golfing all weekend despite there being a terrorist attack in London and tons of positions at the Department of Defense and Homeland Security that he has yet to fill. “Yeah, ‘assistant secretary for nuclear, chemical and biological defense’ doesn’t sound like a position you want to leave vacant,” Meyers says. “It’s like going online and finding a job opening at your local prison for ‘guy who makes sure the cell doors are locked at night.’”
