Ann Dowd has been acting for a very long time, and this year, she won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama for her role as the terrifying, uncompromising Aunt Lydia in the adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale. As the premier Ann Dowd fan site, we were over the moon when our gal won the Emmy in a stacked category. And so was she. She cried. She thanked everyone, including her husband, whom she loves so. Margo Martindale was right: It’s your year, Ann!
