Last Man on Earth co-creators Phil Lord and Chris Miller have a new comedy in the works at ABC. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two have sold a single-cam comedy to the network with a “sizable penalty attached” called We Can Do Better, which follows “a soccer mom who deals with her newly ‘woke’ life in the South as a parent, wife, American citizen and daughter of a hardcore conservative parents.” Liz Cackowski (The Last Man on Earth, Community, Saturday Night Live) wrote the script and will co-executive produce the project with Lord and Miller.
