Tonight, the world’s most popular TV and film stars will gather in Los Angeles for the 75th Golden Globes. Amid the expected schmoozing, the red carpet at the year’s first award show will feature more noteworthy fashion statements than ever before. As part of the “Time’s Up” movement, a number of actors and actresses are expected to wear all-black outfits in solidarity with survivors of sexual assault and harassment, plus small black-and-white pins bearing the “Time’s Up” logo. In addition, per the New York Times, eight actresses — Laura Dern, Amy Poehler, Susan Sarandon, Meryl Streep, Emma Stone, Emma Watson, Michelle Williams, and Shailene Woodley — will lead female activists, including #MeToo founder Tarana Burke and Billie Jean King, down the red carpet in lieu of escorts.
