TBS just announced a pile of comedy news. First up is a double-season renewal for Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, which will keep the show on the air through the 2020 election. Also given a double-season renewal is Seth MacFarlane’s animated series American Dad, which will be paired up with new Conan O’Brien-produced animated comedy Final Space Monday nights at 10:00 and 10:30pm, respectively, starting on February 26th. On top of the renewals, the network finally announced a premiere date for the Jordan Peele-produced The Last O.G. starring Tracy Morgan, which was ordered to series back in 2016. Morgan plays an ex-con “who’s shocked to see just how much the world has changed when he is released from prison on good behavior after a 15-year stint,” and Tiffany Haddish, Ryan Gaul, Cedric the Entertainer, Taylor Mosby, and Dante Hoagland round out the main cast. The show debuts Tuesday, April 3rd at 10:30pm.
