Regina Hall, Casey Wilson, Paul Scheer, and More Join Showtime Pilot ‘Ball Street’

Showtime’s comedy pilot Ball Street is rounding out its cast. The network announced today that Casey Wilson, Regina Hall, Paul Scheer, Kurt Braunohler, and Eugene Cordero have joined the cast of the half-hour pilot, which was ordered back in September. Produced and directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and co-created by David Caspe and Jordan Cahan, the show stars Don Cheadle and Andrew Rannells and is set on October 19, 1987, “aka Black Monday  – one of the worst stock market crashes in the history of Wall Street. To this day, no one knows who or what caused it. Ball Street is the story of how a bunch of fearless underdogs took on the blue-blood, old-boys club of Wall Street.”

Cheadle plays Rod “The Jammer” Jaminski, “a self-educated, self-made, self-destructive master of the universe whose firm the financial press called, ‘The L.A. Raiders of corporate raiders.’” Rannells plays Blair Shmerman, “a fresh-out-of-Wharton trading prodigy whose pure heart will struggle to survive Wall Street (from both a metaphoric and cocaine standpoint).” Hall plays Dawn, “the no-nonsense head of trading and the only woman on the team, along with Keith (Scheer) and Ronnie (Cordero).” Braunohler has signed on to play a vice president at Morgan Stanley named Ty Daverman, while Wilson will play Tiff, the girlfriend of Rannells’s character “who appreciates the finer things in life that Blair’s new job may not provide.”
