Timothy Olyphant could soon be filming a long-awaited Deadwood movie, and serious drama is where he’s most often found, but on Tuesday Olyphant was on Late Night stretching those comedy muscles even further while promoting a new season of Santa Clarita Diet. Olyphant couldn’t play serious for much of his interview, first asking Seth Meyers to be honest about the depth of their friendship, then asking Seth to introduce him as the winner of the 1998 Academy Award for directing Titanic. “We cut the ship in half and sunk it.” What else would you expect from Danny Cordray?
