Hot off a slew of Emmy wins, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is readying its big return, and its licensed some Funny Girl to really underline the point. In season two of the Amazon comedy, Midge soldiers on in her comedy career, while trying to make sense of her love life (or at least find a way to answer her mom’s questions about it). After having her life blow up in the first season, Midge is trying her hardest at this comedy thing, while also hoping to avoid falling into the trap of becoming a housewife and making Jell-O molds for the rest of her life.
