How to Be an Artist? Start by Drawing the Square in Front of You.

So you want to be an artist (or at least live more creatively), but how to begin? New York Magazine art critic Jerry Saltz has a few suggestions. One of them being: Start by drawing the square in front of you! Saltz gave this assignment on Instagram, and hundreds of people sent in their squares. Here are a few of our favorites to inspire you to give it a try.
