Cecily Strong is, in the words of Busy Philipps, a “senior cast member” on Saturday Night Live. Not in the sense that she’s old, just that she’s been there longer than, say, Chris Redd. On Busy Tonight, Strong gave out senior superlatives, those awards in the yearbook, for her fellow SNL cast members:

Strong also revealed her favorite characters to play on SNL, including the “British gal about town” Gemma and her “Weekend Update” character Cathy Anne. Later on, Philipps asked Strong to name the nicest SNL host she’s worked with so far, and she said she was “most shocked” by the kindness of Chris Hemsworth, who she describes as “the cool jock that just wants to hang out with the gay theater kids.” Despite her assumption that she wouldn’t connect with the action star, Strong says Hemsworth “came in and charmed us all,” and by the time he left, the cast was left with this thought: “‘Are we all dating Chris Hemsworth now?’ Like all the boys and all the girls were like, ‘Are we all in love? What happened — what just happened?!’”
