Cardi B and Her Piano Woman Stole the Grammys Show

The Grammys don’t start until its true star arrives atop a bejeweled piano, so count everything up to Cardi B’s grand entrance as just the warm-up. “Welcome to the Grammys,” Cardi declared an hour and a half into the show laid out on said piano like a queen, fanned by her royal court. Impressive as Cardi was, though, most eyes couldn’t keep off her secret weapon, the piano woman. For those curious, her name is Chloe Flower and she’s both classically trained and has been a key collaborator for everyone from Celine Dion to to Mike Epps to Nas, having first been discovered by Babyface. And, as it turns out, she’s played in the key of Cardi B before. Take a brief tour of her YouTube covers below.
