With the final episode of Comedy Central’s Broad City now over, Ilana Glazer is switching things up for her next project. According to Deadline, Glazer has co-written a horror film in the works at A24 called False Positive, in which she will also star alongside Justin Theroux and Pierce Brosnan. Glazer co-wrote the script with PFFR’s John Lee, who is best known for co-creating Wonder Showzen and The Heart, She Holler, and more recently was behind Adult Swim’s trippy (and very creepy) stop-motion series The Shivering Truth. Lee, who directed several episodes of Broad City, is slated to direct the film, and the supporting cast includes Zainab Jah, Gretchen Mol, Sophia Bush, and Josh Hamilton. The plot details are being kept under wraps, but The Hollywood Reporter describes it as a psychological horror film, and Production Weekly called it “a contemporary take on Rosemary’s Baby.” Sold!
