It’s been a hell of a week for Khloé Kardashian, which began when she threatened to sue The Bachelorette and seemingly ended when she put the blame of her boyfriend’s cheating scandal on the woman he cheated with, but not him. (If you recall, her longtime boyfriend, NBA star Tristan Thompson, was caught fooling around with Kylie Jenner’s friend, Jordyn Woods. Yeah, it’s … a lot.) However, despite previous social media comments that Woods, someone she considered an honorary family member, effectively “broke up” her family because of her horny impulses, Kardashian is now backtracking on that statement, saying Thompson is the main person to blame for their dalliance.
“This has been an awful week and I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). I’m a rollercoaster of emotions and have said things I shouldn’t have. Honestly, Tristan cheating on me and humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time,” Kardashian wrote in a series of Saturday afternoon tweets. “What’s been harder and more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love and treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault. I have to move on with my life and count my blessings, my family, my health, and my beautiful baby True.”
As for Woods, she gave her first interview about the scandal on Friday afternoon, where she strongly denied hooking up with Thompson. “I was not tipsy; I was drunk. But I was not beyond the point of recollection. I know where I was. But on the way out, he did kiss me,” she recalled. “It was a kiss on the lips, but no tongue kiss, no making out … there has been no relationship, no communication, no plans on meeting up since then.”
