Midway through the second act of My Fair Lady, the indefatigable Alfred P. Doolittle gets to launch into “Get Me to the Church on Time.” It’s a whole hullabaloo of a song that, in Lincoln Center Theater’s current staging, involves drag queens and kings and dancing on tables. At the moment, Danny Burstein is playing Doolittle, and to capture his performance, LCT hid a GoPro in a hat won by Kerstin Anderson, who plays a reveler in the scene (and is the Eliza alternate for Laura Benanti). The “hat cam” gives you a rare close-up look at a big production number in action, and a chance to enjoy Burstein wiggling his fingers at the camera mid-scene.
