All he wanted to do was have a few laughs (and maybe even birth a recurring character) on SNL, but looking back at his time in Studio 8H, he now realizes he made a crucial mistake as a first-time host. May his loss be your gain, all you hosts-in-training out there. “Don’t do what I did,” Harington warned on Late Night. “When the writers ask you, ‘What kind of things do you wanna do? Do you have any talents or anything you wanna show off?’ I thought, I have zero talents. So I said, ‘I’ll do anything you want me to do. Anything you’d been holding back because you think is too controversial, I’ll do it.’ They really took me at my word.” Well, he wound up playing Michael Jackson, a sensual Winston Churchill, and an even more sensual burlesque dancer. We guess it could’ve be worse?
