Sorry Interview, but we have a new venue for celebrities interviewing celebrities — and it’s pivoting to video. Vulture is pleased to exclusively announce that a retooled version of Inside the Actors Studio will premiere on Ovation on Sunday, October 13, but without the incorrigible James Lipton and his never-ending questionnaire. (Sob.) Instead, a group of actors will be stepping into a rotating interviewer role in his place. Alec Baldwin and Jane Lynch will two of these interviewers, who will be chatting with Henry Winkler and David Oyelowo, respectively, while the season’s remaining pairings will be announced soon.
