Oh yes, right, that would be “nostalgia.” In a new trailer, the cast of Fox’s Beverly Hills 90210 reboot BH90210 pokes fun at the lingering legacy of the ’90s teen drama, with the actors getting into a gossip shesh with each other at the Peach Pit — but as dolls versions of themselves. Pull back to reveal: The dolls are being handled by the actual cast, and all the actors agree it’s time to just do this reboot thing for real! The tone of the teaser fits the description of the upcoming Fox show, which purportedly stars the 90210 cast as “heightened” versions of themselves trying to get a 90210 reboot off the ground 19 years on. (This new clip also really builds on the doll scene momentum gathering in 2019.) BH90210 debuts on August 7.
