Marin Hinkle and Tony Shalhoub Describe Filming the Romper Scene in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
Veteran actor Tony Shalhoub is, in his own words, “old enough to remember Jack LaLanne,” who hosted the longest-running exercise television show from 1959 to 1985. Why such a reference? Shalhoub channeled LaLanne’s retro exercise aesthetic for his iconic calisthenics scene in the Amazon hit series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
