Dave Bautista cares very much about his art, and he’s not afraid to speak his mind about it. Remember when he went to the mat for James Gunn? Dude has opinions. One of his opinions is that the Fast and Furious franchise is hot garbage, and he metaphorically vomits at the idea of joining the car-stealing family. A Twitter user predicted that Dwayne Johnson and John Cena (who both got their starts in wrestling) would get their own Fast and Furious spin-off, in which wrestler-turned-actor Bautista would play the villain. Welp, Dave’s not feeling it. “[sick emoji] … thanks for your consideration … [vomiting emoji],” replied Bautista, adding the hashtag, #idratherdogoodfilms. One can argue the merits of the Fast franchise all day, but you can’t deny that Dave Bautista has an auteur’s passion for action films. Hats off to him.
