Honestly, why don’t more A-list actors start a late-in-life pop career? They certainly have the resources, and it gives them more time to figure out their sound. Of course, even if you imagined all the ways a Jeremy Renner song might sound, we’re betting “Heaven Don’t Have a Name” somehow isn’t any of those. The Avengers: Endgame star’s first single hit streaming services on Friday, though you might recognize the vocals from Sam Feldt’s collaboration with the actor last fall. This new version is less danceable, with a construction that’s more Imagine Dragons by way of Bon Jovi’s “It’s My Life.” Is it your personal song of the summer? Jeremy Renner sure hopes so.
