Jason Reitman is working on a sequel to the original Ghostbusters films, and the project just got 100 percent more Paul Rudd. According to Variety, Rudd has signed on to play a teacher in the movie now titled Ghostbusters 2020, which will reportedly center on “a single mom and her family.” Not a whole lot more is known about the plot of the sequel just yet, but earlier this month, original cast member Sigourney Weaver confirmed that she’ll return along with Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd. (Murray and Aykroyd haven’t been officially confirmed just yet, but Murray did say he’d appear, and Aykroyd said it’s a “beautiful script.”) Carrie Coon and Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard are also in talks to star in the film, which is slated to begin shooting sometime later this summer.

“I’ve been wanting to work with Paul Rudd since my short film opened for Wet Hot American Summer at Sundance,” Reitman said of the news. “I’m thrilled he’ll be joining this new chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe.” According to this announcement video, Rudd is even more thrilled: “When I heard they were going to call me, well, as you can imagine, I nearly slimed myself.”
