What Is It Like to Be a Late-Night Writer? Vulture and NeueHouse Are Hosting a Panel to Find Out.

Earlier this month, Vulture co-presented a panel in New York City at the 92Y to learn what it’s like to be a late-night writer in 2019. That panel, which featured a writer who has worked on every late-night show that currently shoots in New York, was released this week as an episode of Good One, Vulture’s podcast about jokes and those who write them. But, did you know they shoot television shows in Los Angeles also? Wild, but true. As a result, we’ve decided to hold a second version of the panel with the late-night shows that shoot or shot in L.A. On June 27, at NeueHouse Hollywood, Vulture senior editor and Good One host Jesse David Fox will host Jessie Gaskell (Conan), Jocelyn Richard (I Love You, America), Jenny Yang (Busy Tonight), and Danny Ricker (Jimmy Kimmel Live). Together they’ll discuss how they got into late night, the differences between working at their respective shows, what they hope from their shows heading into another election, and much more. Tickets are available here!
