Cartoon Network’s Infinity Train Finally Has a Release Date

Move over, Snowpiercer! There’s a new high concept train at Comic Con! Infinity Train, the long-awaited Cartoon Network series, has finally dropped a trailer and release date. Infinity Train started as a short by Regular Show writer and storyboard artist Owen Dennis in 2016. According to Polygon, the short got a million views in one month. A petition to give the short a full series order garnered almost 57,000 signatures before the show was green-lit. The show has been chilling in limbo ever since, but is finally pulling into the station August 5. Infinity Train stars Blindspot’s Ashley Johnson as Tulip, a 12-year-old girl who finds herself stuck on an endless train. Each car holds a pocket dimension, and Tulip needs to travel through the train to get home. Ernie Hudson plays Atticus, the corgi king. Do I need to sell you on this more? You can stream the first episode of Infinity Train on Cartoon Network’s website and app.
