Apple is really working to seduce potential subscribers. Variety reports that Alfonso Cuarón is the latest A-list creative to sign a big contract with a rich streaming studio, locking in an overall development deal for TV content with Apple TV+. While best known for his features, Cuarón has worked in television before. He wrote for the series Hora Marcada that ran around 1990, and produced the drama series Believe in 2014, which only ran for one season. Other film-famous names producing TV for Apple TV+ include Damien Chazelle and M. Night Shyamalan, and other Apple overall deals have gone to big names like Oprah and Justin Lin.
