Romanian-born German writer Herta Müller won 2009's Nobel Prize for Literature this morning.
First they said American writers were too 'insular' to win the Nobel — and now they've given it to an author from France!
The top member of the award jury says that our literature is too ignorant to be considered seriously for a Nobel. Harumph!
