Reilly a Super Freak On: John C. Reilly stars as a centuries-old vampire in Universal’s Cirque du Freak, about two kids who visit an illegal freak show where, in a priceless Reuters quote, “an encounter with a vampire and a giant deadly spider forces them to make life-changing choices that result in vampire servitude and vampirism itself.” [Reuters]

Burton to Helm 3-D Pair: Tim Burton will direct two 3-D films for Disney: Alice in Wonderland will feature performance-capture techniques similar to those in this weekend’s Beowulf, while Frankenweenie, a remake of the director’s macabre 1984 short, will feature stop-motion animation. While the first film concerns a little girl and the second revolves around a dead dog brought back to life, they will still somehow star Johnny Depp. [Variety]

Bartha, Eisenberg Go Holy: Justin Bartha and Jesse Eisenberg co-star as Orthodox Jewish Ecstasy dealers in director Kevin Asch’s Holy Rollers. Just no Hasidic all-night orgy sequences, please. [HR]

Jadakiss to Roc-a-Fella: After releasing his last two albums, Kiss of Death and Kiss Tha Game Goodbye, through Interscope, Jadakiss jumps ship to sign with Roc-a-Fella/Ruff Ryders for his third album, due out next year. While the new record is as yet untitled, Roc/Ruff execs are brainstorming titles with the word “kiss” in them that are still totally hard. [Billboard]

Goldblum, Kelly Eye Plow: Jeff Goldblum and Laura Michelle Kelly may join Kevin Spacey in the revival of David Mamet’s Speed-The-Plow at London’s Old Vic, under the direction of Matthew Warchus. While Kelly is lesser-known than her co-stars, the Olivier winner should be able to compete with memories of original star Madonna. [Playbill]
