Comic-Con Begins! Plus: Vulture Excerpts This Year’s Eisner Award Nominees


This afternoon there will be one destination for the nerds and the nerd-friendly in Manhattan: New York Comic-Con at the Javits Center. The Con continues all weekend, and Vulture will be there reporting on the panels, the movie sneak previews, and the crowds of cosplayers. In the meantime, this year’s nominees have been announced for the Eisners, the comics world’s most prestigious awards, and Vulture is proud to have presented previews of many of this year’s nominated titles on our Comics Page and interviewed several nominees in our Chat Room.
