The blow dealt to the collective dinosaur image by paleontologists announcing that T. Rex was probably a scavenger is parried with this series and its CGI re-creations of dinos battling. Each week, two beasts are pitted together in imagined scenarios, as scientists explain what might of happened when a gang of raptors stalked a large herbivore, or—in tonight’s premiere—a Rex-like Majungatholus has to fight off another of its kind to protect her young.
