Over the weekend, fourth-place TV network NBC announced it would trim next year’s budget by $500 million, or 3 percent of its annual spending. “We are living in a time of unprecedented economic challenges,” said company president Jeff Zucker, in between bites of actual money. “As a result, all of our business leaders are being asked to cut their spending projections for 2009.” But where will these cuts come from?
