Some awesome anonymous country label has started a tumblr on which it’s posting the worst (i.e. best) unsolicited demos it has ever received in the mail. They are all, without a single exception, fantastic (though, if pressed, we’d have to say we like the cover of “Walkin’ After Midnight” with Auto-Tune and the song about finding a wife who enjoys fishing the most). It’s hard not to wonder how much better the music industry might be doing today if all record labels had thought to release compilations of stuff like this years ago.
