NBC won’t say what it was that put Jay Leno in the hospital for 24 hours and caused him to miss two shows last week, though they did trot him out last night to prove that he hadn’t succumbed to swine flu over the weekend, at least. In his monologue, he took a swing at his Tonight Show successor, which, from the way NBC.com has made the video available for embedding, we guess was all in good fun. To see the joke about NBC’s crappy fall schedule, however, you’ll need to go somewhere else.
