Though movie critic Phil Hoad gave J.J. Abrams’s Star Trek reboot a rave review on the Guardian’s film blog, hard-core Trekkies may cringe in horror at his description of the picture as being “Star Trek 90210.” As for us, we’re just hoping this means we get to see Mr. Spock show off some sweet sideburns at some point in the film, and that the iconic opening theme is played as a bitchin’ electric-guitar solo.
