If you’ve been following the roundtable discussion in the Vulture Reading Room of Charlotte Roche’s Wetlands, you recognize that the book’s humor (or lack thereof) has been one of the largest points of contention between New York book critic Sam Anderson, Kate Christensen, Jessa Crispin, Ayelet Waldman, and Adam Sternbergh (also of New York). In the final entry of this particular series, Anderson attempts to taxonomize the levels of funniness he felt while reading the book, while also copping to the fact that it might be the worst novel he’s ever read. Enjoy! [Vulture Reading Room]
