Tough to say! As Tonight Show fans know, Max Weinberg is currently on a temporary hiatus from the program, as he joined up with his compatriots in the E Street Band for a European tour with Bruce Springsteen. However, according to a cryptic status update on his official Facebook fan page, he may have left the show for good!

UPDATE (3:34 p.m.): According to an NBC publicist that we just spoke with, “This is untrue. He’s coming back to the show.” Hmmm, what could Max have possibly meant by that statement, then? If you’re the conspiracy-theory type, perhaps the same people who hacked Britney’s Twitter are now systematically trying to destroy Max Weinberg’s reputation? Developing!
