
Sharon Waxman reports that the Hollywood Reporter, which has been on the block since last summer, will likely soon be sold to News Communications, Inc. (along with other Nielsen-owned trades Billboard, Adweek, Brandweek, and Mediaweek). There’s currently no word on a sale price or what new publisher James Finkelstein might do with HR, but earlier reports suggested it could abandon its print edition and move online-only following awards season.
