As you’re aware, it’s best not to ask a woman if she wants more kids as she’s crowning, but Production Weekly supposedly has the details of James Cameron’s post-Avatar project. According to their Twitter, the director “is developing a Shane Salerno–scripted sci-fi action script for Fox, described as an ‘event’ film set in the future.” Most suspect it’s Salermo’s previously announced Doomsday Protocol, in which “a group of aliens and humans with various abilities are brought together to save Earth.” No word on whether Cameron would direct or just produce, but that he’s not writing it is probably cause for hope.
