Says a proud Comedy Central spokesman: “We have no plans to renew the series at this time.” James Hibberd’s sources indicate the decision came down to the show’s high production costs (puppets are expensive, man) and “to some degree, critical reception.” So a little gratitude is certainly owed to the Dunham-hating folks at Videogum this morning.
