After being painfully separated from his trusty security blanket desk when he moved to the 10 p.m. time slot on NBC, it looks as if the brass over at the Peacock has given the green light for Jay to once again be able to rest his elbows on a flat, wooden surface when he returns to the Tonight Show in early March. NBC entertainment chairman Jeff Gaspin told the Live Feed’s James Hibberd that “I would be surprised if they didn’t bring back the desk and a couch, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a new desk and couch.” So, Los Angelenos, don’t be surprised if you see the Chin wandering around the Burbank IKEA this weekend in search of a spiffy new desk and couch combo!
