Yesterday’s rumor that an angry Jay Leno, too, might leave NBC was apparently just talk: TMZ reports today that Jay and the network have signed a deal to give him back his old hour-long time slot at 11:35, and his show will once again be called The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. If true, one assumes a financial settlement with Conan must be near, since signing a new Tonight Show host would presumably breach O’Brien’s current contract. Who knows, though! Stay tuned, we guess.
